 Today we decided to take some pictures featuring red lip stick! We were inspired to do this by a few pictures of celebrities and magazine covers such as:

 Emma Stone and Taylor Swift always have class and pull off the daring look well. Red lipstick can add a unique flare to your outfit if incorporated well. Red lipstick looks especially fun and daring with blonde hair! We decided to try the look and take some fun pictures, so we hope you enjoy!

  We are always saying how we LOVE our fave store Brandy Melville, but why? Well, to begin, any girl walking into that store falls in love! From the unique signs, countless amounts of crazy polaroid pictures, and of course the crazy cute clothes EVERYTHING is so inexpensive! The tank tops and shirts usually are about $20 and sweaters range from $30-40. The clothes are edgy and different. In our LA haul you will probably see a ton of items from our fave store:) can't wait to do the LA haul!

One of our FAVORITE days of our trip was our day at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Every store is adorable and unique and of course our fave store Brandy Melville was there. We will soon be doing our LA haul of our new additions to our closet! We always call our new clothing purchases "good investments" and we def bought some great investments on this trip!

Here's Katie's OOTD for Fashion Island. Her floral high waisted shorts from B.P. are fun, and comfortable for a day of shopping. Her shoes from Steve Madden are edgy and go great with her gold earrings she accompanied with this outfit. Also, who doesn't love a casual straight hairstyle!

We love our bold statement necklaces from B.P. Nordstrom and also our watches! Some of our fave accessories.

 So, to start off our trip, we saw the cirque du soleil show "Iris" in the Kodak theater!  The show was phenomal as all cirque du soleil shows are and was amazing to watch! Being in the heart of Hollywood, everyone was insanely fashionable! Here are our outfits for the night:

First to begin, we went with bright summery nail polish! It's fun and young and adds a pop to any boring outfit!

Katie's Outfit: Katie went for the simple black dress and then added a bold statement necklace to make the outfit pop! She accompanied the outfit with some Steve Madden wedges. Also, her dress is from Target, such a deal! 

Alyssa's Outfit: Althought you cannot see it in the picture, I wore a high to low white dress! The dress was so comfortable and could be made from casual to fancy with a bold statement necklace! 

After the show, we ate dinner in The Grove in LA. Such a beautiful shopping center where many stars go to dine! 

As you all know we went to Newport/LA for a week! It was AMAZING as usual. Here are our photos  and outfits from our trip!

This new hairstyle really became popular this year, and we must say we love it! A simple, fun hairstyle that is great for those bad hair days, but is fabulous with a cute headband!

 Favorite Trend #3: NEUTRALS!  We probabaly wear a neutral shirt about everyday. A white or black shirt will always match any bottom, skirt, or etc.  A simply white shirt will always be classic.

 Favorite Trend #2: Watches! This is an accessory we simply cannot live without. A watch can be added to any outfit to add a classy touch. Adding bangles, stackable bracelets, and friendship bracelets can create a edgy look of your own.

 Favorite Trend #1: Open and fun backs!  This look is fun and flirty for summer, especially in the California heat! An open back shirt with your hair put up in a cute fun bun or pony tail is a great hair style for this look!

 Hello everyone!  So this is our first blog, and we thought we would show you some of our favorite things about fashion and who we are. We've been best friends since we were little, and have always loved shopping together, putting together outfits, and basically doing everything together. On our blog, we're going to do everything from our DIY fashion projects, summer trends, and other fashion ideas.
